What To Expect

Founded in 2019 by licensed Marriage and Family therapist, Cherrelle Davis, Becoming Counseling is committed to making a difference by serving both clients and clinicians with authenticity, compassion, and integrity. Expect to be met with both professionalism and personality throughout the process of all communication.

What to expect in the first session

Initial appointments are usually 60 to 90 minutes in length. We will review practice procedures, the therapeutic process, and your presenting concerns. We will also set goals for our work together. Payment is collected at the end of the session. Please understand that in order to bill insurance a diagnosis must be provided after the initial appointment.

Fees and insurance information

Becoming Counseling, PLLC is considered an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna. We can provide a superbill for all other insurance providers if you would like to submit a claim for reimbursement. We offer reduced rates for therapy as well if you do not have insurance or need to pay out of pocket.
